Question: Where do I download Hosted Exchange Extension (HEE)?
There is no separate download for the extension. It is installed automatically when
your install MachPanel Provisioning System. You have the option in the control panel
to turn ON/OFF the extension.
Question: Can I buy Hosted Exchange Extension as stand-alone product?
No, you cannot. Hosted Exchange Extension is an MachPanel extension which means
it extends MachPanel core functions to include extended capabilities. MachPanel
Enterprise Edition license is required for this extension to operate. You may however
request

if you have any specific requirements
Question: If I am using HMC/MPS then how is Hosted Exchange Extension different
from Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS)?
Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) automates routine administrative service management
tasks such as adding new users, updating directory entries, and provisioning applications
and services. Hosted Exchange Extension utilizes MPS for these basic tasks while
topping-up with additional features and functionality such as: (See next slide)
- Delegated Administration: Hosted Exchange Extension framework delegates
administration, allowing your customers to manage their own resources including
databases, e-mail, payment and contact information. By enabling customers to self-provision
their accounts, service providers can see a marked reduction in the number of service
requests arriving at their call centers.
- Service Plans Designing: Hosted Exchange Extension offers a very
advanced wizard to design the service plans you will be offering to your customers.
It allows you to select features, currency, billing cycles, price, upgradeable/downgradable
items, and add-ons.
- Complete Billing: A very advanced billing system can take care
of all your billing requirements. Along with several setting there are anti-fraud
filters and automatic fraud detection to help you minimize fraudulent orders. This
billing system is specifically designed for service providers to give them full
