Skills


  • BS or equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of popular platforms including Windows, Linux, Dell servers, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Domain Name Systems (DNS).
  • Basic knowledge of IIS, DNS, and Mail protocols required.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Software Systems such Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, OCS, BlackBerry, and Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of the principles, operation and capabilities of current high speed communications network hardware, software and protocols.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally.
  • Ability to take initiative in problem identification, analysis and resolutions, ability to work with members effectively in multi-faceted team with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to effectively influence and motivate others.
  • Ability to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
  • Excellent English verbal and writing skills.
  • MCSE/CCNA a plus.

Job Responsibilities


  • Participate to Install, maintain, and monitor the operation of the local area network.
  • Participate in the evaluation of potential equipment, components, and software.
  • Participate in design and recommendation of enterprise grade hosted solutions.
  • Install, configure and maintain network hardware and associated software.
  • Identify hardware and software problems and recommend solutions.
  • Participate in developing plans, schedules and requirements for the deployment of systems.
  • Participate in Enterprise Operations that involves managing shared services based applications, monitoring/routine maintenance, break/fix activities, and working with technical.
  • Participate in researching errors in customer site implementations, identify their root cause, correct and deploy fixes.
  • Implement customer maintenance requests and provide support for defect and problem resolution.
  • Ensure daily support issues are triaged appropriately and addressed in timely fashion.
  • Provide guidance and support to technical and programmatic requirements derivation.
  • Participate in resolving service related issues and recommend solutions.
  • Participate in guiding users and team members in formulating requirements, advice on viability of alternative approaches, and conduct and evaluate feasibility studies.
  • Maintain current and correct documentation concerning the adaption of complex hardware, software and protocols to the network.
  • Participate in development and maintain diagrams documenting company networks.
  • Participate in developing effective processes and procedures.
